Factory Hand - Storeperson: This is a varied position working in a clean, friendly, factory environment. You will be responsible in assisting our manufacturing and dispatch team in completing all day to day tasks. A great attitude to working and toward your fellow work colleagues is essential.

We are looking for a permanent casual factory hand who will be required to work up to 5 days per week. Typical hours: 8 - 4 Monday to Friday with 30 mins lunch break. Hours may vary rarely but we are flexible if you want less hours. Overtime towards Christmas may be required.

Duties & responsibilities of the role will include:

• General labouring tasks
• Operating basic machinery
• Transporting of products around the site using trolleys
• Quality inspection and control
• Supervision of materials being processed through automated machines
• Following instructions from Supervisors
• Following safe work procedures
• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
• Receipting and storing of stock
• Picking, labeling and dispatching orders
• Stock control - Stocktaking tasks
• General store duties
• General cleaning
• Any other duties that may be required

We need someone who has:

• Attention to detail and quality standards
• Excellent English written & oral skill
• Sound mathematics skills
• Common sense
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude and adaptable to change.
• Ability to work efficiently autonomously
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to be flexible in job role and be a team player
• Self-directed, highly motivated, reliable
• Confidence to work with machinery
• Some computer literacy using basic applications
• Honesty and punctuality
• Local to the area - preferably South Eastern Suburbs
• General good health and fitness

This is a position for a factory hand. This means that work will be very repetitive. We need someone who will remain interested, will have high attention to detail and be motivated now and in the future.
