About the role: Programmed Health Professionals are currently seeking community home carers & personal care workers (PCA) for shifts with clients across all areas of Melbourne, especially in the eastern and south-eastern suburbs. We are a supplier through the NDIS and have both disability and elderly clients who require on-going care. In these shifts you will provide personal care & domestic assistance to a variety of different clients in their homes and escort them to outings and appointments. Shifts are available weekdays and weekends, usually between 1-2 hours, however you may be able to work multiple shifts in the one day. We work with many clients who speak Arabic, Greek, Italian as well as several other languages so if you can speak another language that would be beneficial. Qualifications & Experience Required: 6 months of recent of PCA care experience in aged care or community Certificate III in aged care, community care or disability International Police Check is required if you have lived overseas in the past 10 years for more than 1 year Driver's license and own reliable transport 2 supervisor referees from recent PCA work Current level 2 first aid certificate Benefits: On-going shifts available with several clients Runs of shifts available per day Work with an organisation who is an approved NDIS supplier Advanced bookings for most clients Great opportunity to gain experience in the community Flexible work opportunities - you choose what days you want to work!
