Estimator - Commercial Cleaning

Our client is a successful, privately held Australian success story in the commercial cleaning industry. With a presence throughout Australia and New Zealand they pride themselves on a culture of genuine care for their customers and their team. As a result of growth within their business they are looking at hiring a number of new team members to join their successful organisation. In Melbourne they are currently seeking a National Estimator based out of their Melbourne office.

The National Estimator is responsible for overseeing and participating in competitive quoting and estimating, by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents. This position identifies labour, material and time requirements in the bidding and quoting process in accordance with the requirements of the contract and the ISO accredited methods.

• BDM Quotes
  • Review how our national sales team are quoting works and assessing speed rates.
  • Assist sales teams in the execution of the master quote sheets.
  • Approve all master quotes executed by sales teams.
    
• Tender Processes
  • Assist in quoting multisite and large national tenders
  • Run and execute the financial bidding process to allow for a competitive bid submission.
  • Accompany BDMs to walk throughs where necessary.
  • Using previous knowledge and insight to flag and diarise potential upcoming tenders.

• Reporting
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
    

Previous experience working with a cleaning or service industry organisation in a similar role considered essential.
