We are looking for a cleaning supervisor/linen delivery driver for our fast growing housekeeping/linen hire business

Currently operating in Sydney, melbourne and Tasmania, Home and Host is Australia's fastest growing housekeeping business, servicing mostly Airbnb style properties providing them with Housekeeping, linen rental and guest amenities.

Position details

The role's mandate is to ensure our operation runs smoothly across Melbourne, with an emphasis on delivery the quality standard we already offer across NSW and TAS.

Providing support and supervision of upwards of 15 staff members across the city, the role is key to our business. The superstar we are looking for will be fast moving, quick thinking, creative and has the motivation to take the staff and operation on a forward trajectory.

Ideal qualities

- At least 4 years in the cleaning industry, preferably familiar with the Airbnb concept

- Previously held a managers position

- Understanding of high standard of cleaning

- Drivers licence

- Car

- All round great attitude, able to deal with customer service and complaints

- Works well under pressure

- Proactive, able to think outside the box

- No criminal record

- Competent on computers and internet

Position details

- Flexible hours, mostly 8am-4pm Tuesday to Friday

- Salary of $23 - $27 per hour depending on experience

- Work on the road and our storage facility in South Melbourne

Daily tasks include but are not limited to

- Co-ordinating Housekeepers and linen deliveries

- Staff schedules

- Communicating with clients

- Ordering, maintaining linen and guest amenities

- Inspections and quality control of cleans

- Problem solving

- Complaint resolution

- Hiring/firing/training housekeepers

- Key management

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Salary: $23.00 to $27.00 /hour

• driving: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence:

• Driver's Licence (Preferred)

Work Eligibility:

• The candidate can work temporarily with no restriction on hours (Preferred)

Job Duties:

• Loading the delivery vehicle from a staging area
• Delivering to residential locations
