The Role

This is an Entry Level role for someone at the beginning of their career. You’ll receive on the job training from experienced leaders to help set you on the path to success. The ideal candidate will be someone who demonstrates a great attitude, is customer focused and is willing to learn new skills in a team environment.

Initially you will be trained in the delivery of plumbing goods to customers and offering excellent customer service. As you progress, you will then receive training for Trade Sales within the branch which will include developing product knowledge and assisting both plumbers and the public.

Your duties will include:

• Loading delivery vehicles and delivering goods in a safe and timely manner
• Maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping within the branch and vehicles
• Keeping a professional, tidy appearance and friendly manner
• Data entry
• Completion of relevant documentation
• Handling customer queries
• Helping other staff where required
• Manual handling tasks

Skills, qualifications and characteristics you will need:

• Full Manual driver’s licence (you must provide a complete driver history report)
• Competent computer skills
• A strong work ethic and can-do attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Committed to expanding your knowledge and abilities

You don’t need industry experience, just confidence, initiative, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Previous experience in customer service, retail and/or the transport industries will be well regarded.
