We are hiring at your local Subway Beaconsfield as for start with basic sandwich artist making sandwiches.

Position summary

Position title: Sandwich Artist™

Reports to: Store Manager

Role overview

A Sandwich Artist™ serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes Subway® brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.

Key accountabilities

Store merchandising

• Receive deliveries and check in stock
• Daily bread counts
• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking

Food safety

• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Ensure food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
• Carry out temperature checks and record as per company process
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per cleaning chart

Security & loss prevention

• Take precautions to prevent theft of, and damage to, the stock or store
• Follow company security procedures
• Secure cash and stock from loss or theft

Cashier operations

• Count end of shift monies and drop in safe

Occupational health & safety

• Follow safety procedures to prevent injury
• Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers

Personal qualities

• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet Subway® and customer expectations
• Work as a team member
• Complete training courses as directed by the Subway® Manager

Key challenges

• Ensure customers are served in an efficient and friendly manner
• Maintain high personal standards in both presentation and work habits
• Ensure that Health and Safety standards are met
• Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner

We currently have a variety of shifts available. Due to the nature of our business all team members are required to work weekends and public holidays.
