We currently have a number of employment opportunities for experienced Personal Carers to join our high performing team at our modern, apartment-style residence in Mornington with sweeping views of the bay. These positions are permanent part time with shifts available for mornings, afternoons or nights. Hours available range from 32.5 to 74 per fortnight and include some weekend work.
The primary responsibilities of the position include:
Assists with medication safely within designated scopeResponsible for a clean, warm, tidy and comfortable living environment within the apartmentsDelivers domestic care including personal care, simple cleaning, linen service and food preparationConfident use of technology to input, read and extract resident informationObserves, documents and reports changes in resident wellbeing and care environmentShows sound judgement and knows when to escalate issues to cliniciansWorks well in a team environmentTo be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:
Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsYou are friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviourA natural ability to build relationships that make a differenceHonest, helpful and dependable - a great asset for the teamWillingness to learn, develop and take on new challengesShows empathy and treats others with dignity and respectWilling to undergo a police check Benefits:
