Japanese Mountain Retreat is seeking the services of experienced Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join our resort.

You will be responsible for all facets of room cleaning. You will be experienced and have an eye for detail. You will have experience in hotel room cleaning practices including bed making, toilet, shower and vanity cleaning, floor mopping and vacuming and other general cleaning skills.

Excellent verbal communication skills are essential as you will regularly interact with other team members and our guests.

We work together in small teams however the successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work alone and unsupervised.

The successful applicants must have at least 2 years cleaning experience working in a 4 star hotel and be able to demonstrate appropriate skills and ability. In addition they will have a willingness to work hard in what is a physically demanding job.

One position is Full time and applicants must be prepared to work hours as required, including weekends. A minimum of 25-30 hours per week will be required and you will paid at the current award rate including any penalties, superannuation etc. that may apply.

The second position is for 1-2 days per week 6-15 hours per week.

Candidates must have the right to work in Australia and should live within 20 minutes of the resort.

We are located approximately 1 hour east of Melbourne CBD in the Dandenong Ranges therefore your own transport is essential.
