PLEASE NOTE: dancing is a compulsory part of the job. Please do not apply if you are not 100% happy to dance for customers on a regular basis. The dance is fairly simple, it's only about 3 minutes long, there are choreographed steps, and there are normally 3 staff members performing it together (occasionally 2). There may be 1–6 dance performances per shift. You do not have to be a good dancer or an experienced dancer; you only need to dance enthusiastically and with a smile.
The Soda Rock Diner team seeks a dishwasher / kitchen hand / busser to work with us to keep our customers happy!
The successful applicant will:

- Be able to work nights (until about 11 pm–midnight)
- Be able to work Saturdays and Sundays (both day times and night times)
No experience required. Position suitable for high school student or university student.
There is the opportunity for the right person with excellent job performance and communication to progress into other roles, if interested.
We are a family-friendly, American- and 1950s-themed restaurant, opened in 1994 (still the same owner!). We are a popular destination for people wanting to celebrate a birthday in a fun atmosphere, and we have fans of all ages (from toddlers through to seniors). We normally have about 80–90 customers in on Saturday nights, so we are looking for someone who can keep up in a fast-paced environment.
