Catering Assistant | Full Time | Bosch Clayton

From tearooms to the boardroom, our range of catering solutions for busy people at work include grab 'n' go, barista coffee, food court options and contemporary staff restaurants.

The Position

We are currently recruiting experienced Full Time and Part Time Catering Assistants to join our team based at our new site in Clayton.

Full flexibility Monday – Friday required.

The Role

• Food preparation including sandwich making, pizza and other snack style foods
• Daily cleaning including Dishes, Pots and servery and kitchen equipment
• Passionate prepare and deliver high quality coffee
• Provide attentive service to customers
• Provision of excellent customer service to boarding students
• Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
• Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Site Manager
• Liaising with employees, management, customers and clients

The Person

• Comparable experience in a fast-paced kitchen with high volume sandwich prep and function catering
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport
• Ability to take direction & work unsupervised while being able to think on your feet & go the extra mile
• Working knowledge of high quality coffee making
• POS and Cash Handling experience
• Understanding of OHS & food safety requirements
• Basic Knife handling skills
