Concrete Blonde are looking for a passionate, experienced and motivated Barista to join our awesome team.

If you're a kick-ass barista with solid training and you take genuine pride in your work, we want you!

Experience in specialty coffee is a plus, however a key quality we’re after is a great attitude with a team player approach. Additional to your barista duties, you will be expected to perform other front of house duties as and when required.

Our ideal applicant is someone who enjoys talking to customers about coffee and can balance quality coffee production with great customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Espresso and filter coffee Dialling in grind Knowledge of grinder and grind adjustments as it relates to coffee extraction and flavour Maintaining equipment adhering to a cleaning and maintenance schedule for both grinders and coffee machine alike Quality control and recipe implementation in accordance with tasting notes and guidelines Experience as a full-time Barista Demonstrated working knowledge of coffee making techniques Must be competent with Latte art to demonstrate texturing and milk control ability Have an incredible passion for coffee Have a high level of professionalism Be confident and have solid experience in high volume coffee Friendly and approachable demeanour Outstanding time management and organisational skills Ability to work well in a team Positive attitude Experience

Salary is negotiable commensurate with experience. Ideally, we are seeking to fulfil a part-time position to work Monday- Friday.

You will be exposed to the latest WBC (World Barista Championship) standards and techniques and the successful applicant will develop under this framework to become a competition grade Barista.
